The North Las Vegas City Council and Redevelopment Agency welcome each of you to their meetings. If you wish to speak, please complete one of the blue cards, which are located on the table outside the main entrance and at the podium rail. Please give the card to the City Clerk. When called upon to speak, we request that you limit your comments to no more than three minutes, and that you avoid repetition. Please keep in mind the rules of decorum by addressing the Council and Agency as a whole and not individual members and limiting your comments to issues regarding City government. As a courtesy to others, we ask that cellular phones and pagers be turned off during the meeting. Please no food or drink inside Council Chambers.

 

Items on the agenda may be taken out of order. Two or more agenda items may be combined for consideration or items may be removed from the agenda or have the discussion delayed to another date. The North Las Vegas City Council Chamber is accessible to all persons. These proceedings are being video recorded for future viewings on KCLV, Cable Channel 2. The proceedings will be rebroadcasted on KCLV Channel 2 the Friday after the meeting at 4:00 P.M., the following Tuesday at 12:00 P.M. and Thursday at 6:00 A.M. RULES OF DECORUM

 

In accordance with City of North Las Vegas Municipal Code (CNLVMC) 2.04.150 Rules of Decorum, the Mayor or presiding Chair is empowered to enforce proper conduct at meetings and to prohibit conduct impeding Council meetings. Any person willfully disrupting a meeting shall be warned to refrain from inappropriate conduct and may be removed from the meeting if they do not comply with the request.

 

CNLVMC 2.04.150(C):  Persons Addressing the Council. Any person making personal, impertinent, slanderous, or profane remarks or who willfully utters loud, threatening or abusive language, or engages in any disorderly conduct which would impede, disrupt or disturb the orderly conduct of any meeting, hearing or other proceeding, shall be called to order by the presiding officer and if such conduct continues, may at the discretion of the presiding officer be ordered barred from further audience before the Council during that meeting.

CNLVMC 2.04.150(D):  Members of the Audience. No person in the audience shall engage in disorderly conduct such as hand clapping, stamping of feet, whistling, using profane language, yelling, and similar demonstrations, which conduct disturbs the peace and good order of the meeting.
